Over the past year, improvement activities for the Centre have included:
- revisiting the aims and objectives of the Centre
- establishing a brand identity strategy
- changing the ‘corporate livery’ to prominent colours in line with the branding strategy
- developing a new logo and ‘tag line’ – a place of help, hope and understanding
- changing all of our ‘touch points’ to the new colours and themes
- significantly upgrading our website
- starting the process of upgrading our ‘image’ through new corporate signage including the ‘front gate’ and entrance way.
The next step to take us to ‘2012 and beyond’ is to upgrade our premises to reflect the new ‘corporate image’ of the Centre. The Board is cognizant of the fact that we need to take a measured approach to spending our precious resources and the first step is to upgrade the reception, counselling and hallway areas.
The Manager will move closer to the reception area, and counselling will move into his existing space.
The important renovations of the reception area are planned to give this area a better feel and comfort for both clients and support workers. This includes repainting, new carpet tiles, upgrading lighting (throughout the premises), upgrading desks and chairs, installing wall mounted brochure holders and so on.
These renovations will provide the Centre with a bright, open and inviting reception area along with a fresh and comfortable environment.
You are invited to participate in ‘The Big Picture for the Centre’ by making a tax deductible donation to an area or fixture. This may include say a new client chair for $150 or a new lighting set for $250. There are many items to be purchased in this exercise – the whole of which will cost in the vicinity of $20,000.
Should you wish to participate in this exciting next step and make a donation, there is a donation form included in this edition of Healthy Living or you can choose one of the following options, to pay be:
