This 6 week “Healing with Art” course provides an opportunity to explore your creativity as a catalyst for healing. Explore different techniques, colours, media and have a little bit of fun. Suitable for beginners or advanced.

Men’s meetingMen’s meeting

First and third Tuesday of the month

This group provides an opportunity for men to share their experiences, knowledge and feelings with others who are ‘in the same boat’ (or a similar one).


Yoga ClassesYoga Classes

Every Wednesday afternoon

It is safe, fun and easy to do. A typical class includes breathwork, gentle stretching and simple repetitive movements, conscious relaxation and meditation, inclusive of beautiful Yoga music.

Topics for this 6-week course include: sowing seeds, creative garden design, permaculture and management, composting, water systems, mulch and more.

Carers Support GroupCarers Support Group

1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month

Carers need support too. This group aims to discuss the issues facing carers and how they can be supported in their important role in the cancer journey.

Learn and experience the benefits of meditation and how you can use this powerful tool in your healing journey.



Fourth Thursday of each Month

Juicing demonstrations are available at the Cancer Care Centre

General Support GroupGeneral Support Group

2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month, 11.00am -12.00 noon

This Support Group is open to cancer patients. A non specific cancer focus but general discussion on all matters affecting those on the cancer journey.

Women’s Circle of FriendsWomen’s Circle of Friends

1st & 3rd Thursday morning of each month

We are a friendly group who get together fortnightly to discuss topics such as family, medical issues, feelings and emotions in an informal confidential environment.



Alternate Friday mornings

Acupuncture is offered at the Centre on alternate Friday mornings.  Acupuncture has been found to be very helpful in treating pain and inducing relaxation.  It is fast gaining acceptance in mainstream medicine right across the Western world.  Please phone the Centre to book your appointment with our therapist John. Cost: $40 members,  $85 non-members.  

Clinical HypnotherapyClinical Hypnotherapy

Every Friday morning

Our Therapist Jean Cannon has many years of experience in helping people with a variety of problems using hypnotherapy, including pain management, anxiety, stress management behavioural changes and release of fear.

Counselling is now available on Saturdays with two (2) appointment times – 10 am and 11 am. Counsellor is Helene Hipp.


Massage TherapiesMassage Therapies

Monday – Friday

We offer a range of massage therapies including Lymphatic Drainage, Gentle Oncology Massage, Bowen Therapy, Reflexology, Shiatsu and Kinesiology. We also offer non-manipulative therapies such as Reiki.
