Chair YogaChair Yoga

Chair Yoga is suitable for those people unable to participate in a regular yoga class due to poor energy, limited mobility, balance issues or a disability. It is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair. Facilitator: Nina Cost: $40 members, $55 non members. Course is five weeks, every Monday 10.30am-12noon

This 6 week “Healing with Art” course provides an opportunity to explore your creativity as a catalyst for healing. Explore different techniques, colours, media and have a little bit of fun. Suitable for beginners or advanced.

This group provides an opportunity for men to share their experiences, knowledge and feelings with others who are ‘in the same boat’ (or a similar one).

Every Wednesday afternoon

It is safe, fun and easy to do. A typical class includes breathwork, gentle stretching and simple repetitive movements, conscious relaxation and meditation, inclusive of beautiful Yoga music.

Seeds for Health – Organic GardeningSeeds for Health – Organic Gardening

Autumn 2015

Topics for this 6-week course include: sowing seeds, creative garden design, permaculture and management, composting, water systems, mulch and more.

2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month, 11.00am -12.00 noon

This Support Group is open to cancer patients. A non specific cancer focus but general discussion on all matters affecting those on the cancer journey.

Women’s Circle of FriendsWomen’s Circle of Friends

1st & 3rd Thursday morning of each month

We are a friendly group who get together fortnightly to discuss topics such as family, medical issues, feelings and emotions in an informal confidential environment.


Vegetarian Cooking ClassVegetarian Cooking Class

Alternate Friday mornings

Acupuncture is offered at the Centre on alternate Friday mornings.  Acupuncture has been found to be very helpful in treating pain and inducing relaxation.  It is fast gaining acceptance in mainstream medicine right across the Western world.  Please phone the Centre to book your appointment with our therapist John. Our Therapist Jean Cannon has many years of experience in helping people with a variety of problems using hypnotherapy, including pain management, anxiety, stress management behavioural changes and release of fear.

Massage TherapiesMassage Therapies

Monday – Friday

We offer a range of massage therapies including Lymphatic Drainage, Gentle Oncology Massage, Bowen Therapy, Reflexology, Shiatsu and Kinesiology. We also offer non-manipulative therapies such as Reiki.
